Title: Split The Atom Again

US & UK Release:
09.20.10
Format: Digital Download

Status: Coming Soon!

It’s time for a change.

Casanatra aims to raise the artistic standards for recording artists with the release of their fourth full length album, “Split The Atom Again”, by putting forth a body of work that inspires and challenges listeners rather than coddling them with sub-standard formulaic drivel.

By adding a fourth member to the Casanatra recipe, Brett Johnson former bassist for the hip-hop group Atmosphere, Casanatra has opened the door to a whole new set of flavors and textures beautifully captured on this record.

“Split The Atom Again” showcases inspired rock n’ roll infused with funk, hip-hop, and jazz elements coupled with lyrics from the soul outlining the working man’s struggle while calling out the sheep to wake up and look at the world with honest eyes.

The bar has been raised.

If someone tells you they aren't fascinated with death, they are lying.  Negative connotations be damned, "Death Ride" is an ode to life.

From the first chord, this record pops with soul, style and vision.   Three
musician's working as one brain with six hands pounding out monolithic riffs, lush soundscapes, and dizzying flurries within the framework of a beautiful song.

Title: Primo Impacto

Street Date:

Format: CD

Status: In Stock!

Blue Worm Records is thrilled to announce the sophomore full-length release from Casanatra.

"Primo Impacto" runs the spectrum from short blasts of fuzz-rock catchiness to epic sludge rock moments.

This release is a huge departure from their previous record "Wood and Glass". One less member though putting out twice the sound, makes it hard to believe that these engaging arrangements are the same band

The new 3 piece lineup allows these guys to really let loose do what comes naturally--kicking ass.

Lyrical relevance through subjects like divorce, war, racial identity
and the search for self-awareness delivered with a tinge of dark
comedy and musical fearlessness makes this one new release that is a
requisite to chew on in 2006.

Title: Is This Tonight?

Street Date:
10.23.2002
Format: CD/EP

Status: Out Of Print

Arriving at a common point through four very different avnues, the members of Casanatra have tapped into a distinct musical vein with their debut BWR Release, "Is This Tonight?"

Touching on topics such as social anxiety, parental misguidance, and personal freedom, the introspective tone of the lyrics is matcheb by a ferocious, yet delicate, approach to the "Big Rock" sound.

Sizzling guitars, thunderous drumming, and sternum rattling low-end all demand that you board this brief but satisfying amusement ride.

Featuring Dennis Asher (Remover), Jer Fink (Dropnickel/Remover), and Lance Reed
